Education & Seminars

EMEZ aims to provide users and customers with state of the art know-how and theory to help them to be able to achieve value added research experience at our facility. EMEZ addresses this exciting challenge in many different ways.
* Educational efforts of EMEZ are linked to Bachelor and Master programs across different institutions and departments. The interdisciplinary nature of EMEZ makes it possible to educate and train students from all disciplines in imaging technologies together with the effort of CIMST.
* An annual winter school (in partnership with University Zurich and LMC) and an annual summer school (as part of CIMST activity) for Master and PhD students from all over the world is organized. The schools discuss recent progress and current challenges in biological and medical imaging.
* EMEZ continuously contributes to the education and awareness of researchers by offering dedicated seminars and topical symposia.
* Furthermore, EMEZ provides case dependent on-site training as well as topical block courses to train and educate interested participants from the industrial sector or other academic institutions.
